2 weeks old & the apple of Daddy's eye.

Our little man is now 2 weeks old and already it feels like he's been with us forever, can't remember what it was like without him. He's such a cruiser and is feeding and sleeping like a wee demon. Only has me up twice most nights and I'm back in bed within 30-40 mins so don't even feel that sleep deprived! Hope it lasts! And as you can see his Daddy just thinks he's awesome.

Holly & Lachlan

Holly just loves her new little brother and she is a super helper for me. She gets his nappies at change time, pats his back at burp time and gives him lots of hugs and kisses. She also hates it when he cries and can often be found standing by his bassinette saying 'Ohh bubby' when he's upset. She does get carrried away at times and he has had the occasional bash so I think he is going to be a toughie.

Lachlan Joseph Arrives At Last!

After a bit of a false start, our gorgeous little boy finally arrived on Monday 5th March. We thought he was coming on Friday and after being sent home from the hospital, had a weekend of contractions here and there and lots of waiting. Once he made up his mind to come though, it was all on! My waters finally broke about 11-11:30am on Monday, we arrived at the hospital at 1:20pm and he was born at 2:47pm, weighing 3.53kg or 7 pounds, 13 ounces. Such a speedy arrival, we were all done before the Dr even made it!! As you can see his Daddy is very proud of him and his sister thinks he is just the best thing ever!
