Anzac Day Picnic

We picked up our new car (yes I am now a suburban housewife with a 4WD) on Anzac Day and went for a drive into the hinterland to try it out. Had a lovely day and we're very happy with the 4WD.

Well at 7 weeks old Lachlan is already out of the bassinette and into the cot. Each time we do something like this we realise just how little Holly was as she was in the bassinette for much longer. I think the main thing is Lachlan is really long...going to be tall like his Daddy I think.
Some things don't change though and Holly is still a big vegemite fan (just like her Nanny). Here she is digging into a vegemite snack and leaving the crackers!

Easter Weekend

We had a lovely family time over the Easter weekend. It was awesome to have Daddy home for 4 days. We went out to Mooloolah for a picnic where Holly loved playing on the playground equipment. Holly and Daddy braved the pool for probably the last time for a while, aparently it was very cold! Holly had fun trying out her floating car.

It seems I am always the one who has the camera out so it is nice to have a photo of me with the kids. Although I am at my most glamourous in my pj's first thing in the morning!!

Lachlan at 4 weeks old

Our little man is a month old already and growing fast. I had him weighed at 2 weeks and he was 3.9kg and now he is 4.6kg. I put him in a little outfit yesterday that was still a little bit big for him but it was one Holly was still wearing at 6 months old! Makes us realise just how little she was.
